The Emergency Department at Hartford Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center handling a wide range of cases, including behavioral health. The 22-bed behavioral health crisis unit collaborates closely with the Institute of Living and offers educational resources, including CPI certification during orientation.
As Nurse Manager, you will oversee clinical, administrative, operational, and compliance activities, ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. The role requires active CT RN licensure, a BSN (Master's preferred), at least one year of inpatient or behavioral crisis nursing experience, and two years of progressive leadership experience. Strong communication skills and BLS certification are also required.
