Job Description

Nurse Managers are responsible for:

1. Supervising the quality of treatment and care of patients.
2. Directing staffing and administration of a nursing unit or floor.
3. Facilitating a team culture that encourages and rewards excellence in patient care.

The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who manages the financial, human, and other resources to provide quality patient care for an assigned area over a twenty-four-hour period.

Qualifications for this position include:

1. Master's Degree in Nursing; Nursing Administration preferred.
2. State-issued RN license.
3. Five (5) years of nursing experience, including hospital clinical practice.
4. Basic Life Support (BLS).
5. Experience in behavioral health preferred.
