Job summary

State of Maryland's MDH, Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center in Jessup, MD, seeks a Nursing Manager to plan and coordinate nursing care for a division across all shifts. You will directly supervise Registered Nurse Supervisors and, through them, nurses.

The role requires observing infection control, potential lifting and restraints, and overtime as needed. A BSN or higher and leadership experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting, are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher in Nursing or health-related field
• Four years RN experience including two years supervisory/administrative or consultative capacity
• Two years in a psychiatric setting

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate nursing care for a division for all shifts
• Directly supervise Registered Nurse Supervisors, CI and indirectly supervise Registered Nurses, CI

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or health-related field
