Job summary

Intermedia Group Inc. is seeking a Nurse Manager- Behavioral Health in Randallstown, MD. This role carries 24-hour accountability for coordinating resources to deliver high-quality patient care in a behavioral health setting.

The ideal candidate will have a Nursing Degree, Maryland RN license (or eligibility), and BLS. Preferred candidates may hold APRN-CNS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and have 3–5 years of management experience.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Registered Nurse license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 24-hour accountability for coordination of resources to ensure quality service in Behavioral Health.
• Directs and coordinates unit operations in alignment with hospital goals and department objectives.
• Communicates with leadership regarding staff, physician and system issues affecting the department and services.
• Mentors and coaches staff; promotes team building and evidence-based practices.
• Develops unit plans for improvements, manages budgets and monitors financial variances.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards governing patient care (e.g., JCAHO, IDPH/HCFA).
