Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in New Jersey as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years hospital-based nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years in psychiatric nursing.
• BSN or related degree; active pursuit acceptable with work experience.
• Past staff supervision experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong management and supervisory knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan, direct and monitor activities with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the delivery of patient care.
• Collaborates with medical staff and department managers.
• Fosters open communication and assesses referrals.
• Facilitates resolution of complaints in line with regulations.
• Makes decisions on structure, coordination and resources.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
