The successful candidate for the Nursing Supervisor position will be motivational, encouraging and self sufficient. This is a Nursing position that requires you to have strong leadership skills and the ability to make rapid decisions. In this role you are required to ensure that quality nursing services are rendered to patients in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and standards of the Nursing Department and the hospital. You will act as a resource for the entire facility on the Evening Shift and be required to supervise Nursing Department staff as well as other departments in carrying out their responsibilities. You will be required to coordinates activities among nursing units and other departments and to assist the Admissions Department when necessary. This position will be Per Diem.
