AdventHealth in Orange City, FL is seeking a nurse leader to oversee venous access and infusion therapy within an acute care setting. You will supervise staff, ensure clinical excellence, and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has an active Florida RN license, an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), and leadership experience. This role supports full-time night shift with comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Florida.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy; adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, conduct appraisals and implement improvement plans.
• Mentor staff, identify training needs, and promote professional development.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing improvements.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
