Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced RN leader for a night shift in Tampa. You will oversee venous access and infusion therapy, ensure patient safety, and guide a team of nurses to deliver high-quality care.

The role demands strong clinical expertise and mentoring abilities within an acute care setting. Responsibilities include implementing individualized care plans, educating patients and families, and leading quality improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

• RN license required
• 1+ charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
• Experience in acute care setting preferred
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN licensure scope ensuring patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy and adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to choose venous access methods and manage complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access patients.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Mentor staff, conduct appraisals, and drive performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead training programs and foster professional development of team members.
• Resolve conflicts promptly to maintain a positive work environment and team cohesion.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
