Job summary

You will plan and evaluate patient care operations, develop strategic goals, and coach staff to uphold the nursing practice model while ensuring quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

You will manage budgets, drive cost-saving initiatives, and foster collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing required; master's preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of three years RN clinical experience and two years management experience.
• Certifications in nursing administration or related clinical area; or certification must be achieved within eligibility window.
• Prior leadership and management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees patient care operations for designated area on a 24-hour basis.
• Plans and develops strategic short-, mid-, and long-term goals for unit operations.
• Manages and coaches nursing staff; evaluates performance.
• Promotes collaboration with other departments and manages unit budget.
• Identifies opportunities for cost savings and improvement in patient care and processes.
