Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for the 62-bed Postpartum Unit within our Women’s Services. You will provide 24/7 accountability for nursing care, cultivate a professional practice environment, and lead initiatives in quality, safety, and patient experience.

The ideal candidate brings deep Maternal-Newborn expertise, strong leadership, and a collaborative approach to drive outcomes. Mercy values compassionate, high-quality care and workforce engagement across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license (or eligible in state of practice).
• Nursing certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success leading teams, managing operations, and improving outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute departmental goals aligned with organizational strategy.
• Maintain 24/7 accountability for patient care and operations of the postpartum unit.
• Drive quality, safety, patient experience, and outcomes initiatives across the department.
• Recruit, hire, and retain top nursing talent; oversee development and performance management.
