Job summary

Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks an experienced healthcare leader to drive nursing excellence and patient care across the hospital. The role reports to the CNO and ensures high-quality nursing practice, staff competency, and optimal resource management.

The position requires an RN license, at least 2 years of progressive management in a hospital setting, and a Bachelor’s or higher degree.

Qualifications

Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
Minimum Education: Academic degree in nursing.
Minimum Experience: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.
Preferred: Education: Bachelor's or master's degree.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership and support to the senior executive position (CNO) responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization.
Performs related duties as required.
Role assumes 24/7 responsibility of Same Day surgery and PACU, and assists in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a unit level.
