Job summary

This role provides leadership to support the Chief Nursing Officer and ensures delivery of high-quality, safe patient care while managing resources efficiently.

The position requires an active MA RN license, 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting, and an BSN or higher.

Qualifications

• Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice (MA).
• 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field or a BSN (or higher) required; MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support to the senior executive position (CNO) responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization.
• Assists in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi-unit level.
• Ensures high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management.
