Job summary

Harris Health seeks a Nurse Manager for the Patient Flow Command Center (PFCC) to lead system-wide patient flow, capacity management and throughput operations across Harris Health. You will oversee bed management, transfer centers and coordination with EMS and operations teams to optimize resource use and patient movement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Master's degree in nursing or related field is required or preferred.
• Texas RN license or valid multi-state/compact license; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide system-wide leadership for patient flow, capacity management, and throughput operations across Harris Health.
• Lead PFCC Supervisors and PFCC Nurses/Coordinators in patient placement, transfers and bed management.
• Ensure EMTALA compliance, policy adherence, and optimize system capacity and resources.
