Job summary

Harris Health is seeking a PFCC Supervisor to lead centralized coordination of patient admissions, transfers, and bed assignments across the system. The role oversees patient flow, EMTALA compliance, and operational continuity during off-shifts and holidays.

The supervisor serves as a clinical resource, educator and leader, partnering with hospital leadership to improve throughput, care transitions and staff performance while ensuring adherence to Harris Health policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field; holds at least one of the following: Masters or Doctoral degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate systemwide centralized coordination of patient admissions, transfers and bed assignment.
• Oversee EMTALA compliance and system patient flow decisions.
• Escalate barriers to resolution and monitor adoption of patient placement workflows.
• Coach and develop staff to address patient flow challenges and ensure safe, efficient care.
