Job summary

Neighborhood Health Center in Buffalo, NY seeks a Nurse Manager (RN) to lead nursing teams, collaborate with clinical staff, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. You will supervise staff, participate in hiring/training, and manage cross-training and compliance across sites.

The role requires NY RN license, BLS, and at least 3 years in nursing management. Travel to Neighborhood sites across Western New York is required. Competitive salary with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license.
• Active Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum 3 years nursing management experience; physician office/practice preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• English language skills; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with providers and advocate for nursing teams.
• Supervise and develop nursing staff; participate in hiring and training.
• Ensure cross-training across departments and adherence to guidelines.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to meet infection control and OSHA policies.
• Coordinate clinical and non-clinical staff activities for quality patient experience.
• Prepare monthly nursing reports and participate in QA committee work.
