Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a BSN-educated nurse to lead and advance patient care within one of its facilities in New Jersey. The role emphasizes direct patient care, staff development, and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating nursing operations, ensuring quality of care, and maintaining documentation and confidentiality while supporting patients and families through compassionate care.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience including basic dysrhythmia.
• OCN certification preferred.
• ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient service requirements by building rapport with patients and staff.
• Maintain nursing operations by coordinating policies and procedures.
• Assure quality of care by applying hospital and nursing division standards.
• Recruit, onboard, and train nursing and auxiliary staff.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families while supporting patient independence.
• Enforce infection-control policies and safe medication handling while ensuring supplies and equipment readiness.
• Audit patient records and protect patient confidentiality.
• Maintain professional knowledge and collaborate with health care teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
