Responsibilities

• Executes unit and department strategic initiatives.
• Acts as administrative and clinical resource to nursing staff.
• Supports hospital-wide and nursing-level policies and goals.
• Collaborates with Staff Education to develop staff.
• Manages hiring/firing decisions with HR; participates in corrective actions.
• Oversees annual staff evaluations and competency assessments.
• Coordinates with on-call nursing administration as needed.
• Monitors patient satisfaction and drives improvements.
• Leads Lean initiatives and problem-solving across unit.
• Provides department-wide education on strategic initiatives.
• Ensures core BLS/ACLS competencies and credentialing processes.
