Job summary

City of Hope in Pasadena, CA seeks an experienced Nurse Manager for the South Pasadena Clinic to lead nursing staff and coordinate patient care across Infusion, Medical Oncology, Diabetes/Endocrinology, Radiation Oncology, and Surgical services.

You'll oversee 25 clinical staff, drive clinical quality, and develop staff through ongoing education while collaborating with physicians, pharmacists, and support teams to ensure exceptional care for cancer patients and related conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or MSN) – as noted.
• Minimum 3 years in infusion/oncology with leadership growth.
• California RN license.
• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• ONCC certification preferred or within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Nursing Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate performance.
• Patient Care: Oversee care across Infusion, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Hematology.
• Clinical Quality: Implement and monitor clinical quality standards and protocols.
• Staff Development: Provide ongoing education and training for nursing staff.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and support staff.
