Job summary

Atrium Health Greater Charlotte is seeking a skilled Nurse Manager for our ambulatory OB/GYN operations. You will lead staff across multiple locations, ensure credentialing and onboarding, and uphold regulatory and policy standards within a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The role emphasizes leadership, budget oversight, and evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes and cost effectiveness. Strong nursing leadership and ongoing certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• MSN preferred; enrollment in MSN program within 1 year of hire and graduation within 5 years.
• If undergrad is BSN, Master’s in health-related field or MBA acceptable.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Appropriate professional certification within 1 year of eligibility.
• Additional education, training, certifications or experience may be required within the department.

Responsibilities

• Staff recruitment and retention, including orientation, credentialing, development, and performance evaluation.
• Operational oversight and responsibility for regulatory and policy compliance.
• Leadership and delegation, including shared governance.
• Policy and standards development based on evidence-based practice.
• Resource allocation and budgetary oversight for the unit.
• Accountability for unit quality, patient outcomes, and cost effectiveness.

Education

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

Our board-certified physicians and entire team of compassionate medical professional care for patients at three convenient locations and provide care ranging from gynecological, preventative, and/or obstetrical care.

We are seeking ahighly skilled, Nurse Manager who brings exceptional clinical expertise, strong leadership, and a genuine commitment to supporting both staff and patients. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory clinic environment and believes in leading by example.

We’re Looking For:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Must have or complete MSN if undergraduate degree is not BSN. Enrollment in MSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer date and graduation of MSN program required within 5 years of hire. If undergraduate degree is BSN, a Master's Degree from a health-related program or MBA is acceptable.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam.
• Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
