Job summary

Atrium Health Greater Charlotte is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor in Supportive Oncology to oversee clinical operations for three sections in a multidisciplinary ambulatory setting. You will collaborate with MDs, APPs, and a team of RNs and CNAs to enhance care delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and staff development, with a focus on quality and evidence-based practice in oncology within Atrium Health's expansive Ambulatory Nursing network.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• BSN required; or RN must enroll in BSN within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Previous management and oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance nursing practice, nursing service administration and delivery of care in the department.
• Leads teammates, fosters a healthy work environment, and promotes innovation in care delivery.
• Coaches and counsels teammates; may assist with discipline up to written warnings.
• Participates in interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel in the department.

Atrium Health RN Clinical Supervisor, Supportive Oncology

Multidisciplinary department of supportive care in cancer. More than 25 nurses across different sections and locations. This position will oversee the clinical operations for three sections (senior oncology, integrative oncology, and cancer survivorship) which includes care provided by 5 MDs & 4 APPs and a team of RNs and CAs.
