Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) on hire and maintain.
• Minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
• BSN required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
• CNOR; preferred.
• Current ACLS (AHA) on hire and maintain.
• At least two years of experience in Surgical Nursing.
• Current PALS (AHA) certification for facilities caring for pediatric population.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in the perioperative environment.
• Manage staff in all Perioperative Departments.
• Consult with staff, physicians and Nurse Executive on nursing issues.
• Ensure patient needs are met and participate in budget formulation.
• Lead performance improvement activities within the department.
