Job summary

A healthcare organization in Aventura, Florida is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager of Emergency Services for a full-time evening/night shift leadership role. You will oversee ED operations and nursing staff in a 467-bed hospital with Level II Trauma Center.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida RN license (or compact eligibility), 3+ years ER nursing in acute care, and at least 1 year in a nursing leadership role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital ER nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of full-time Charge Nurse, Nursing Coordinator, Nursing Supervisor, or Nursing Management experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• NRP and CPI certifications required or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• ENPC certification required or obtainable within 60 months of hire.
• TNCC certification required or obtainable within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Emergency Department operations and nursing staff.
• Support night shift nursing teams and work closely with the ED Director.
• Ensure high-quality patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Florida RN license or eligible compact RN license

• Must be comfortable working evening/night shifts
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or obtainable within 30 days of hire
• NRP and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certifications required or obtainable within 90 days of hire
• ENPC certification required or obtainable within 60 months of hire
• TNCC certification required or obtainable within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of Emergency Department leadership experience
