Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Labor & Birth nursing leader at Love Family Women\'s Center in Oklahoma City. The role supports the Chief Nursing Officer in delivering safe, quality care while managing staffing and resource utilization.

The unit specializes in Obstetrics and Mother Baby care with a high-paced environment. Requires BSN (preferred), RN license, 3+ years of nursing experience, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS) within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Current license in applicable State of practice for Registered Nurse.
• Experience: Minimum three years nursing experience; leadership/management experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Other: Demonstrates strong human relations and communication skills; understands patient care processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Nursing Officer in delivering safe, quality, cost-efficient care.
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources and meet productivity/financial goals.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff across departments to improve processes and communication.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in the area of responsibility and communicate effectively with the care team.
