Job summary

Job description

Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on Nurse Manager!

• Reports directly to Adult Services Director
• Oversees 3 cardiac-focused Telemetry/Med-Surg units
• Two units have 32 beds each; one has 12 beds
• Units are located in three separate hospital towers, all within walking distance
• Primary focus is strong operational leadership
• Responsible for daily operations, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, financial performance and patient throughput
• Must be able to adapt as the hospital and leadership structure continue to evolve
• Supported by a Med-Surg/Telemetry/DOU Educator

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• 3–5 years acute care RN experience.
• 2–3 years progressive nursing leadership experience.
• Experience in telemetry and/or medical-surgical acute care required.
• Strong knowledge of hospital KPIs and regulatory standards.
• BLS, ACLS and EKG certification required.
• NE-BC or NEA-BC required within one year of hire.
