Job summary
Meritus Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead 5 West General Medical/Surgical, Monday–Friday days, full time. You will provide 24/7 accountability for unit operations, staffing, and patient care, coordinating with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote safety and quality.
The role requires a BSN (MSN preferred), Maryland RN licensure, and at least 5 years of nursing experience with leadership.
Qualifications
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- MD RN license to practice in Maryland.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience with leadership.
- Clinical leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for 5 West General Medical/Surgical unit.
- Oversee daily clinical operations with 24-hour accountability.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for safe patient care.
- Lead quality, safety, and performance-improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, pharmacy, and rehab services.
- Coach and develop team members and support recruitment and onboarding.
