Job summary

Mercy Community Healthcare in Franklin, TN, seeks a Nurse Manager who will lead the nursing department, plan schedules, oversee onboarding, and partner with the Director of Nursing and Chief Clinical Officer to provide strong, professional leadership.

Qualifications include RN or LPN licensure and 5+ years of nursing experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EClinicalWorks EMR.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN or LPN licensure.
• 5+ years nursing experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• EClinicalWorks EMR experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Makes independent decisions for the Nursing Department including scheduling and inventory.
• Develops staffing plans and manages day-to-day staffing.
• Attends required meetings and documents minutes.
• Leads with mature interpersonal skills and develops goals with leadership.
• Coordinates competency training and onboarding.
• Conducts 90-day and annual evaluations of direct patient care staff.
• Ensures OSHA/HIPAA compliance and maintains professional standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
