Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead the soon-to-open Weaver Tower 6 General Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Jacksonville, FL. This role requires 24/7 leadership, clinical oversight, and hands-on operational management of a fast-paced, high-acuity unit.

You will build a high-performing nursing team, establish workflows, ensure safe, patient-centered care, and drive staff development, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management in alignment with regulatory

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) - Required
• BSN - Required
• BLS Certification - Required
• ACLS Certification - Required
• Nurse Executive Certification (NE-BC) - Preferred
• 3–5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in acute care

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 operational and clinical leadership for a 24-bed General PCU.
• Lead the opening and ongoing operations of Weaver Tower 6.
• Ensure delivery of safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
• Build, mentor, and develop a highly engaged nursing team.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor quality metrics and drive data-driven performance improvements.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and fiscal performance.
• Address patient and family concerns to improve satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and Joint Commission/CMS standards.
