Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery to oversee all departmental functions and support the hospital mission. You will lead staffing, budgets and operations while maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in management, L&D experience, and an RN license in Texas. Advanced degree preferred and current BLS/NRP credentials are required or in progress within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Five years of management experience including personnel, payroll, budgets and supervision preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; RN licensure in Texas or compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all departmental functions in Labor and Delivery to support hospital goals.
• Develop care plans based on RN assessments and maintain staffing during high census.
• Establish relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors; allocate fiscal and human resources.
