Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is a full-service hospital in Washington, DC, offering a comprehensive range of acute and specialty care services.

We are seeking an experienced ICU Nurse Manager (Full Time) responsible for the overall delivery and quality of patient care in the ICU.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversees daily operations of the ICU, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation based on patient acuity and census
• Leads, coaches, and evaluates nursing staff to promote clinical excellence and professional development
• Monitors key performance indicators (patient outcomes, LOS, infection rates, staff engagement) and drives improvement initiatives
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and unit performance
• Supports recruitment, retention, and staff engagement strategies
• Oversees budget, productivity, and supply management
• Promotes evidence-based practice, quality, and patient safety initiatives
• Addresses patient, family, and staff concerns while fostering a positive work environment

Qualifications

• DC RN license required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN Preferred
• Minimum 2 years ICU Nurse Management experience in an acute care setting
