Elite Medical Staffing is hiring a RN Nurse Manager for an ICF/ID facility in Dedham, MA. This contract position offers a competitive pay rate of $60/hour, a consistent schedule, and the opportunity to work with one of our healthcare partners.

The role requires a licensed RN with at least 1 year in an ICF/ID setting, strong supervision skills, EMR proficiency, and the ability to coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN Nurse Manager license or compact license required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an ICF/ID setting.
• Reliable transportation to assigned facilities.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to push/pull and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willing to complete background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs in EMR.
• Assess health status and coordinate nursing care.
• Develop and evaluate individualized nursing care plans with the team.
• Administer medications and nursing interventions per orders.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, Direct Support Professionals and other staff.
• Monitor health status and coordinate follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, guardians, and providers.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, infection control, and regulations.

• Care Setting:Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID)
• Shift Availability: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Utilize EMRto record patients’ medical information and vital signs
• Assess individuals' health status and coordinate nursing care to support ongoing healthcare needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, Direct Support Professionals, and other caregiving staff
• Monitor individuals for changes in health status and coordinate appropriate medical follow-up and interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, guardians, and community providers to support person-centered care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, care coordination activities, and individual outcomes
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in an ICF/ID setting
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Credentials Required

• Active and unencumbered MA RN Nurse Manager License or Compact RN Nurse Manager License
• Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
• CPR/BLS
• Tuberculosis (TB) Test
• Flu Vaccine (during Flu season)
• Covid-19 Vaccine (religious/medical exemptions accepted)
• Resume
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
