Job summary

Veterans Health Administration is recruiting for a full-time Registered Nurse - Nurse Manager for Homeless Programs at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System.

The Nurse Manager oversees nursing unit operations within homeless programs, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve care, plans, implements, and evaluates age-specific services, and ensures regulatory compliance; telework is eligible and the schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license from any US state or territory.
• Experience in nurse management or supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operation of nursing units within homeless programs and provides coverage for other nurse managers as needed.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to establish efficient, Veteran-centered care processes.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates age-specific and population-appropriate care delivery.
• Contributes to development of care delivery models and environmental design.
• Coordinates patient education, self-management, and satisfaction across the continuum of care.
• Ensures administrative support and guidance while supervising nursing personnel.
