Job summary

CommunityHealth is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee nursing staff, provide direct patient care, and lead quality improvement initiatives in a flexible, multicultural setting in Chicago.

The role requires RN licensure in Illinois (BSN or higher) and at least two years of nursing experience, with supervisory experience preferred. Full-time hours include some evenings and Saturdays; strong communication and autonomy are essential.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Illinois (BSN or higher).
• 2 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and follow-through; able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and education during in-person and telehealth visits.
• Assess and prioritize patient health needs based on history and data.
• Review lab results and coordinate with care team.
• Supervise Nursing Department staff and volunteers; set schedules.
• Develop and maintain clinical workflows and quality improvement programs.
