Qualifications

• 3+ years of nursing management experience required.
• Current RN license
• CPR certification
• Associates or better in Nursing; Bachelors or Masters preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Accepts reports from preceding shift and adjusts staffing.
• Makes rounds, visits patients, and observes quality of care.
• Analyzes nursing service to improve patient care and efficiency.
• Maintains statistics, records, and prepares reports.
• Responds to emergencies and Code Blues; assists with nursing procedures.
• Participates in department budget, QA, and risk management.
• Initiates Disaster Plan when appropriate.
• Plans and organizes work; coordinates with Medical staff and other departments.
