Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of three years RN clinical experience and two years management experience.
• Certification in nursing administration or area of clinical expertise; or certification must be achieved within eligibility.
• Prior leadership and management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plans, organizes, manages and evaluates patient care operations for a designated area on a 24-hour basis as needed.
• Plan and develop short, mid- and long-term goals to improve unit operations.
• Manage, guide and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff.
• Promote collaboration with other patient care departments related to patient care operations.
• Develop and administer unit budget plans; identify cost-saving initiatives.

Education

Baccalaureate degree in nursing

Master's degree preferred

Current Ohio RN license
