Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the Diagnostic Imaging, PFT, and Procedure Suite nursing teams. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safe, patient-centered care, and align practice with standards set by the Clinical Director.

This 1.0 FTE role requires a BSN, 2+ years leadership, RN license, BLS/ACLS, and strong communication. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (required).
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience (required).
• 2 years in healthcare leadership (required).
• WA RN license or current MSL; MSL with WA residency within 60 days of hire (required).
• Current BLS and ACLS provider cards (required).
• Strong leadership, communication and clinical judgment skills (required).
• Experience with quality, safety and regulatory awareness (required).
• Preferred: Master's degree (MSN, MHA, MBA or related).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily nursing operations across Diagnostic Imaging, PFT, and Procedure Suite.
• Ensure safe, patient-centered nursing care aligned with evidence-based practice.
• Operationalize nursing policies and standards.
• Serve as on-site clinical/operational resource for staff and partners.
• Ensure nursing competency, orientation and continuing education.
• Staffing oversight including hiring and evaluations.
• Provide teaching, coaching and clinical consultation to staff.
