Job summary

Claratel Behavioral Health, a DeKalb County, GA-based nonprofit, seeks an experienced Developmental Disability Nurse Manager to lead nursing services across DD residential and community-based programs. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and med techs, develop health protocols, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating medical care, reviewing HRST and MARs, and guiding staff through clinical procedures while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Georgia with current license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with development disabilities or similar populations; two years supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all healthcare needs of DD service recipients.
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and Medical Technicians.
• Ensure annual licensure renewal and required trainings.
• Coordinate scheduling for LPNs across homes.
• Review medical records, labs, and orders for timeliness and accuracy.
• Lead HRST completion and sign HRSTs over rating 3.
• Develop and monitor Crisis Safety plans and health plans.
• Coordinate with hospitals for discharge planning and medical info sharing.
• Provide staff training on medical procedures and proxy care.
