Job summary
Claratel Behavioral Health seeks a RN leader to direct nursing activities for Developmental Disabilities (DD) Services, including supervision of RNs, LPNs and Med Techs in community-based settings. You will set nursing standards, develop staffing plans, and drive quality improvement across DD programs.
The role requires GA RN licensure, a BSN, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience with DD or similar populations.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with GA license and BSN required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in developmental disabilities and supervision.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Responsibilities
- Oversees all healthcare needs of DD service recipients.
- Supervises RNs, LPNs and Med Techs.
- Ensures annual training and licensure renewal requirements.
- Completes monthly LPN scheduling for homes.
- Reviews medical documentation and ensures orders are carried out.
- Directs health risk screening and crisis safety plan processes.
- Coordinates medical information across professionals and services.
- Provides 24/7 medical support through supervisors or staff.
