Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BSN degree or actively pursuing BSN.
• Minimum perioperative RN experience.
• Relevant management experience preferred.
• CNOR or alternative certification preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certifications preferred or obtained within required window.
• BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire.
• Proficiency in English (read/write/speak).
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and coordinates nursing activities to support safe, quality care.
• Participate in budgeting, planning, throughput improvements, and patient care management.
• Develop and maintain staffing plans for supervised areas.
• Supervise staff and provide education, orientation and support.
• Lead departments in policy development and adherence to Joint Commission standards.
• Monitor safety and foster a culture of safety at the unit level.
• Coordinate equipment and supply needs for departments supervised.
• Attend management meetings and conduct regular staff huddles.
• Provide staff performance feedback including annual reviews and discipline as needed.
• Assist with interviewing, scheduling, and personnel records as assigned.
