Overview

Texas Oncology is looking for a Nurse Manager (RN) to join our team! This position will support the Dallas Medical City location. This is a full-time Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm position with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

Texas Oncology is the largest community oncology provider in the country, with approximately 600+ providers across 220+ sites in Texas and southeastern Oklahoma. Our mission is to make high-quality cancer care accessible to all communities, enabling patients to fight cancer at home with support from loved ones. We use leading-edge technology and research to deliver evidence-based cancer care, aiming for more breakthroughs and victories in patients' fights against cancer. What does the Nurse Manager (RN) do? The Nurse Manager supports clinical operations, collaborates on practice management, and ensures adherence to compliance and standards. They work under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services to improve practice standards, facilitate evidence-based practices, and support staff development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring clinical operations align with organizational goals
  • Supporting operational projects like Quality Committees and Oncology Care Model initiatives
  • Implementing outcomes data and evidence-based practices
  • Standardizing best practices and ensuring quality standards
  • Staff development, including staffing, scheduling, and competency programs
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or MSN preferred
  • RN license and current registration in practicing state
  • Minimum 5 years of active nursing practice
  • 5 years of leadership experience
  • OCN certification preferred
  • Current CPR certification

Working Conditions: Office environment, with physical demands including handling patients, lifting up to 40 lbs, and extensive standing/walking. Accommodations available as needed.

Physical Requirements: Computer work, manual dexterity, visual and auditory acuity, and mobility.
