Job summary

Open Arms Care Corporation in Nolensville, TN seeks a Nurse Manager (RN) to lead Nursing Services, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality across multiple sites. You will collaborate with the RDN and act as the clinical escalation for complex cases and surveys.

The role requires supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, enforcement of care coordination, infection control, and readiness for inspections, with on-call coverage and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment
• PCM certification within 60 days of employment
• Valid driver’s license
• 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or residential settings
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience required
• Experience with regulatory surveys and compliance preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to lead, mentor, and hold staff accountable
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations, CMS requirements, and survey processes
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Supervisor and oversee assigned duties
• Provide clinical oversight to ensure care coordination and collaboration with healthcare providers
• Serve as liaison across clinical services for care coordination and outcomes
• Oversee preventive care initiatives, vaccinations, and wellness programs
• Support infection control efforts through tracking, trend analysis, and quality improvement
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and survey readiness
• Coordinate care transitions including hospitalizations and admissions
• Participate in client intake processes and service planning support
• Review nursing assessments for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain field presence to monitor quality and staff performance
• Conduct audits and observations to support QA and staff development
• Participate in leadership meetings and organizational planning
• Provide on-call support and timely communication of issues
• Promote a positive team environment focused on accountability and improvement
• Work with other personnel and provide backup for operations as needed
• Serve as primary designee for electronic health records communications
