Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an Clinical Assistant Manager to advocate for efficient, safe, and compassionate nursing care. The role supports personnel management, budgeting, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance on the unit.

Responsibilities include leading PI initiatives, staff evaluations, orientation, and collaboration with Clinical Manager to optimize patient flow and outcomes, while maintaining high professional standards and staff development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and organizational systems, and strategies.
• Experience with performance improvement theory and application.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards (e.g., JCAHO) and healthcare evaluation.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of PI Plan initiatives with Clinical Manager to improve outcomes.
• Conducts staff evaluations and provides counseling and feedback.
• Oversees orientation for new hires and staff development.
• Participates in leadership and staff meetings and supports staff engagement.
• Collaborates to ensure patient satisfaction targets are achieved and maintained.
