Responsibilities

The nurse manager 24/7 practice is accountable for implementing Mayo Clinic's vision, mission, and values within defined areas of practice. Responsibilities include planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating operational, fiscal, and personnel activities to ensure quality patient care around the clock. The role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, budget management, promoting shared decision-making, and fostering professional development among staff. Direct reports may include nurse supervisors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program; master's preferred.
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited Master's in Nursing or DNP program, or approved health-related field.
• Minimum of three years nursing practice or leadership experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Experience in the department's specialty preferred.
• Management experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure

• Current RN license or acceptable equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
• Additional licensure or certifications as required.

Additional Details

• Exempt status.
• Salary: $126,672 - $190,049/year.
• Full-time, 80 hours per pay period.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours vary; weekends as needed.
• This role is eligible for TN sponsorship.
