Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare West is seeking a Nurse RN Manager for Medical-Telemetry to lead a skilled clinical team in complex adult health, cardiac telemetry, and acute cardiac interventions. You will drive protocol-driven treatments and promote a culture of clinical safety with surgical suites and rehabilitation services, supported by a large network of clinicians.

The role emphasizes leadership, evidence-based practice, and stakeholder collaboration within a 600+ clinician/400 physician network.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited program (diploma/associate/bachelor).
• BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact with Texas eligibility within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS preferred from AHA.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• 1 year of leadership experience in a hospital/healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Upholds organizational alignment and nursing standards.
• Develops unit goals aligned with organizational strategy.
• Encourages frontline staff to use evidence-based practices.
• Conducts regular staff meetings and shares updates.
• Manages budgets, expenses, and staffing resources with data systems.
