Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of clinical nursing experience.
• RN licensure and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with liaison departments to maintain patient care standards using evidence-based practice.
• Provide diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients regularly.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in the unit.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient health service delivery.
• Foster patient satisfaction.
• Maintain unit-related patient care standards through continuous quality improvement.
• Attain and maintain Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.
• Manage the operation of the unit.
• Analyze personnel structure and determine staffing needs.
• Monitor productivity, develop quality initiatives, and supervise the unit.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Experience

• 4+ years of clinical nursing experience required
• 2 years of leadership experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
