Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Manager to lead daily operations in a 24/7 department. This full-time, dayshift role focuses on quality patient care, policy development, and performance improvement within a high-acuity cardiovascular lab.

Responsibilities include evaluating staff activities, setting goals, and ensuring compliance with licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Five (5) years of Coronary Care Nursing and/or the Cardiovascular Lab experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings.
• Operates Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment; pressure injectors, hemodynamic monitor, cardiac output computer, etc.

Department: Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule: Full-Time Days, 40 hours weekly, 24/7 department accountability

Facility: Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center

Location: Aurora, IL, 60506

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $91,146 to $131,997. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
