Job summary

Turning Point Care Center, LLC in Moultrie, GA is seeking a Nurse Manager – Registered Nurse (RN) for the day shift. This management role ensures efficient operation of the department, maintains a therapeutic milieu, and collaborates with Clinical Services to meet treatment goals.

You will supervise RNs, LPNs, MHTs, provide quality nursing care, support staff development, and participate in interdisciplinary planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred.
• Four (4) years of RN experience.
• Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing certifications preferred.
• Progressive supervisory/administrative nursing experience preferred.
• Georgia RN licensure in good standing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and mastery of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment preferred.
• Demonstrated competence to participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and supervise nursing care.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervising RNs, LPNs, MHTs, and ancillary staff by making assignments and monitoring patient care
• Providing quality nursing care to meet identified patient outcomes
• Carrying out assigned functions according to philosophy, goal and objectives of the hospital and program unit
• Contributing as an active part of the treatment team
• Providing redirection & consistency
