Job summary

Turning Point Care Center, LLC in Moultrie, GA seeks a PRN Patient Tech/Mental Health Tech (MHT) to support a multidisciplinary team in a behavioral health environment. You will provide direct patient care, maintain a safe therapeutic setting, and assist with data recording and crisis interventions.

Hours are 5:30pm–6:00am with shift differentials. Prior experience in behavioral health is preferred; High School Diploma required. Join us to contribute to recovery in a compassionate, rural setting.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a patient-related field.
• One year experience with psychiatric, trauma, or substance abuse patients preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; further training in behavioral health preferred.
• Ability to communicate therapeutically and age appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a multidiscipline team.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Complete patient safety rounds timely.
• Maintain accurate and complete data and records.
• Intervene with suicidal gestures and crisis situations using de-escalation techniques.
• Therapeutically communicate with patients and help develop boundaries and social skills.
• Direct/redirect behaviors and respond to impulsivity appropriately.
• Recognize and communicate patients' physical and psychological status.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
