Malvern Behavioral Health in South Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Nurse Manager to organize and administer individualized nursing care under the direction of medical staff and the treatment plan.

The role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating with pharmacy, supporting the director of nursing, ensuring infection control, patient education, discharge planning, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and service.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in PA.
• Clinical experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards.

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer individualized nursing care.
• Provide standards of nursing care per medical staff and treatment plan objectives.
• Participate in patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Assist Director of Nursing to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Promote safety, maintain workflow across shifts.
• Supervise nursing staff and supervise students.
• Manage medications and controlled substances; inventory.
• Respond to emergencies; delegate duties appropriately.
• Oversee infection control program.
• Prepare scheduling for the nursing department.
