Job summary

North Shore Place in Illinois seeks a Manager Nurse to lead the nursing unit, supervise CNAs and HHAs, and ensure high-quality resident care on the assigned floors.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting care, and coordinating with physicians. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and an active RN/LPN license with state LOP are required, along with 1+ years of nursing experience in a health care facility. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Area of study: Nursing.
• 1+ years of nursing experience in a health care facility.
• Current and active LPN/LVN or RN license with LOP in the state of this community facility.
• Fluent in English to perform duties and communicate with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents on assigned floors per established protocols.
• Supervise CNAs and HHAs in delivery of resident care.
• Observe and assess residents for pain, oxygen therapy, drainage, dressings, and continence.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately and integrate into care plan.
• Administer medications per physician orders and document in MOR.
• Assemble and maintain resident charts and monthly summaries timely.
• Prepare incident/accident reports and notify director, physician, and family per policy.
• Orient new staff and supervise assignment of nursing team; ensure proper meal supervision.
