Job summary

Medical City Arlington, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Nurse Manager Antepartum to lead the antepartum unit and drive excellence in maternal care. You will supervise nursing teams, coordinate care delivery, and support performance improvement initiatives within Women’s Services.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years nursing experience, demonstrated leadership, a BSN, and certifications such as BLS, NRP, CPI/NVCI or SAMA, and fetal monitoring.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a staff nurse in clinical area.
• Previous management experience or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership position required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care on the assigned unit(s).
• Coordinate and supervise unit activities to ensure safe and efficient care delivery.
• Assist the AVP of Women’s Services with Performance Improvement, policies/procedures and unit financial management.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Unit Manager is responsible for the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit(s). The Manager also coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit, which supports the safe and efficient delivery of care. The Unit Manager assists the Assistant Vice President of Women’s Services in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures and in the financial management of the Unit.

What qualifications you will need:

• 3-5 years of experience as a staff nurse in clinical area.

• Previous management experience or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership position required.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field required.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required.

• Current TX RN license or RN Compact State License required.

• NRP within 6 months of employment required.

• CPI NVCI or SAMA within 6 months of employment required.

• Current Fetal Monitoring certification required.
